Who can take part
- You can sign an informed consent form and complete study visits and tests
- You’re between 45 and 70 years old
- You have Parkinson’s disease that is confirmed as “idiopathic” and diagnosed at least 5 years ago
- Your symptoms noticeably improve when taking levodopa or a similar medicine (meets a specific on–off improvement rule)
- Your Parkinson’s symptoms are in a moderate stage (Hoehn & Yahr stage 3 to 4) when symptoms are at their best (“ON” time)
- Your brain MRI must not show major other problems, and you must be able to have MRI (and PET if required)
