Who can take part

  • You have an unstable fracture of the wrist bone (distal radius).
  • You are fully grown (skeletally mature).
  • Your fracture happened within the last 1 week.
  • Your fracture is not a contaminated open wound (no dirty open fracture).
  • There is no blood-vessel injury with the need for repair.
  • Your fracture does not seem to be due to a weakened bone (not a suspected pathologic fracture).
