Who can take part

  • You have a broken wrist bone (distal radius fracture).
  • You are a child patient whose parent or guardian agrees to the study and signs a consent form.
  • If you are a female and have started your period, you must have a negative pregnancy test.
  • You do not have other major injuries or conditions like kidney disease or uncontrolled diabetes.
  • Your fracture is not open (the bone did not come through the skin).
