Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of either bile duct cancer (CGC) or gallbladder cancer (GBC).
  • OR, if you are a comparison participant: you must be cancer-free (healthy control) or have chronic liver disease (CLD) with no cancer history.
  • If you are a healthy control, you should have no current or past cancer.
  • If you have chronic liver disease, you must not have liver cancer on CT or MRI scans.
  • The study needs participants matched by age (within 5 years), gender, and race, and the comparison partners are typically friends or spouses of certain other patients.
