Testosterone treatment study for men with chronic kidney disease

Who can take part

  • You are a man age 18 to 85
  • You have chronic kidney disease with kidney function in a specific range (eGFR 15–45)
  • Your morning blood testosterone has been low (under 300 ng/dl) on two separate tests
  • You have symptoms that can happen with low testosterone (like low libido, erections problems, fatigue, mood or sleep issues)
  • Your iron levels are in a normal range (ferritin 100+ and iron saturation 20+)
  • You have not used testosterone (or similar products like DHEA) in the last 6 months
