- You are older than 18 years
- You have chronic hepatitis B
- You do not also have hepatitis C or hepatitis D
- You do not have HIV
- You do not drink excessive alcohol (at least 30 g/day for men or 20 g/day for women)
- You do not have other liver diseases (like autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cholangitis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, or Wilson’s disease)
