Study of liver inflammation and scarring in hepatitis B or fatty liver

Chronic Hepatitis bNon-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Part of Digestive system, Infections clinical trials.

This study looks at what factors predict liver inflammation, scarring (fibrosis), and health outcomes in people with long-term hepatitis B or fatty liver disease. The goal is to better understand who is more likely to worsen over time.

Follow-up study for chronic hepatitis B with fatty liver

This study follows people who have chronic hepatitis B and also have fat buildup in the liver (nonalcoholic fatty liver disease). It’s looking at how these conditions behave over time and what may help, using information collected during follow-up visits.

NCT06819917Recruiting
Liver fibrosis test study for fatty liver disease

This study is looking for new ways to detect liver scarring (fibrosis) in people with fatty liver disease (NAFLD, NASH, MASLD, or MASH). If you qualify, you will give a blood sample to help identify biomarkers that could replace biopsies.

Study of people with fatty liver disease

This study follows people who have been confirmed to have fatty liver disease seen on a liver sample. It aims to understand the condition over time and how different causes and health factors may affect it.

Study immune and disease changes in fatty liver

This study looks at what drives non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and how it affects the body, including immune-related changes. You may be invited if you have confirmed fatty liver disease or, alternatively, if you are a healthy person with no liver disease.

NCT06509230Recruiting
Predicting serious liver scarring in hepatitis B patients

This study looks at better ways to predict significant liver fibrosis (scarring) in people with chronic hepatitis B or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It aims to help avoid invasive tests like liver biopsy.

NCT06152250Recruiting
Fatty liver inflammation study with liver biopsy

This study looks at how the liver's immune environment changes in people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) that has progressed to significant scarring. Researchers will use a liver biopsy to understand the inflammation better, which may lead to new treatments.
