Who can take part
- You’re at least 18 years old with a newly found brain lesion or confirmed recurrent tumor
- Your most recent brain MRI was within the last 28 days (and shows features of glioblastoma, or confirmed recurrence)
- The tumor/lesion is over 3 cm and is located in the upper part of the brain (supratentorial) within 5 cm of the brain surface
- The lesion shows gadolinium enhancement on MRI (it “lights up” after contrast dye)
- You are planning to have surgical resection (or, for recurrence, laser ablation) of the tumor
- You can safely have an MRI, and you don’t have certain scalp/skull issues or implanted materials that interfere with the ultrasound probe
