MRI-guided focused ultrasound for breast cancer during surgery

Who can take part

  • You can speak and understand English
  • You are a woman age 18 or older with invasive breast cancer and you are having surgery
  • Your health is good enough for study procedures: ECOG less than 2 and ASA class I to II
  • Your kidneys are working well enough (eGFR over 30)
  • You can have an MRI and are willing/able to lie on your stomach (prone) for 90 minutes
  • You agree to effective birth control if you could become pregnant, or you are not able to become pregnant
