Who can take part

  • You are age 40 or older
  • A doctor has diagnosed you with COPD
  • Your COPD breathing test fits certain levels (FVC/FEV1 pattern and stage II to IV)
  • You have a history of smoking exposure (at least 10 pack-years)
  • Your omega-3 intake is low (less than 500 mg of EPA+DHA per day from food and/or supplements)
  • You are willing to follow the diet plan, including eating seafood
