Who can take part
- You have confirmed epithelioid malignant pleural mesothelioma (a specific mesothelioma type).
- Your cancer is resectable (can be removed) and is not metastatic—no stage IV spread, and no lymph node involvement called N2.
- You can complete 2 to 4 cycles of standard platinum chemotherapy, and you still qualify after that if you don’t meet exclusion issues.
- Your doctors can collect tumor tissue after chemotherapy (by needle biopsy or VATS biopsy) before starting the immune-cell treatment.
- You must have a good overall health status (ECOG 0–1) and be healthy enough for platinum chemo and planned surgery.
- You test positive on a skin test for immune response to a tetanus-related antigen.
