Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your care team plans to withdraw life-sustaining treatments.
  • Your doctor expects you will pass away within 24 hours after life support is stopped.
  • You have an arterial line (a small tube in an artery) in place for continuous blood pressure monitoring.
