This study tests an educational and communication support program to help Spanish-speaking people stay on track with treatment when they’re getting radiation for non-spread (non-metastatic) breast or prostate cancer. It may help by improving understanding through interpreter-supported visits.

Who can take part
- You speak Spanish and are Latinx (Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, or Central/South American ancestry)
- You have breast or prostate cancer that has not spread to other parts of the body
- Your diagnosis has been confirmed by pathology (tissue or biopsy testing)
- You are planning to get curative (aimed at cure) radiation to treat breast or prostate cancer
- You can take part in visits with a certified interpreter
- You are well enough for study activities (Karnofsky score 70 or higher)
