Nitric oxide injection for solid tumors that can’t be removed

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older and able to give informed consent
  • Have a skin or under-skin solid tumor (or metastasis) that cannot be removed (unresectable), proven by pathology (biopsy)
  • Have measurable tumor areas on scans and usually at least one target spot you can feel/see; the target should be at least 4.5 mm in length and depth
  • Have tried standard cancer treatments (or there aren’t standard options) and your tumor hasn’t responded or has progressed
  • Be healthy enough for treatment: blood counts and organ function are adequate, and you’ve not had radiation to the target area within the last 12 months
