Who can take part

  • You must be under 18 years old.
  • Your child has a heart condition such as a congenital heart defect, heart rhythm problem, inherited (familial) heart muscle disease, or heart inflammation.
  • Your child had CPR with chest compressions for at least 2 minutes, either in the hospital or right when arriving.
  • A parent or legal guardian must agree to the study (informed consent).
  • There must not be a DNR (do-not-resuscitate) order for your child.
