Y-90 and immunotherapy vs Y-90 plus placebo for liver cancer

Locally Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Who can take part

  • You have a clear diagnosis of liver cancer (HCC), confirmed by scan criteria or biopsy
  • Your cancer is locally advanced but has no spread outside the liver
  • You must be eligible for Y-90 treatment based on a special scan (MAA with lung safety limits)
  • You have not had liver radiation before, and you have not had prior drug treatment for HCC (systemic therapy)
  • Your liver function is strong enough for study treatment (Child-Pugh A) and blood counts meet thresholds
  • You must have recent endoscopy treatment of any stomach/esophagus vein swelling (varices) before starting
