Who can take part

  • You need to speak English and be able to follow study instructions and visits.
  • You have an un-treated, biopsy-proven superficial basal cell cancer (sBCC) or squamous cell carcinoma in situ (SCCis).
  • Your lesion must be small (less than 2 cm) and located on the scalp, trunk, neck, or arms/legs (excluding hands, feet, and genital area)—OR you have certain lesions on face/hands/feet/genital area where surgery isn’t possible.
  • You must not have had treatment right at the spot before (including “field” skin treatments within 2 cm) and no radiation to that area.
  • If you can become pregnant, you must take a pregnancy test before starting and use birth control during treatment; you cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
