Using an app to help teens cope with post-surgery pain

Pain, ChronicPain, Chronic Post-Surgical

Part of Pain clinical trials.

This trial tests whether a phone app (iCanCope) can help teens better manage pain after surgery for scoliosis or certain chest conditions (pectus carinatum/excavatum). If you’re having one of these surgeries soon, the app may help with coping and day-to-day comfort after the operation.
