Testing D-galactose for PGM1-CDG in adults

PGM1-CDG - Phosphoglucomutase 1-Related Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 60 years old.
  • Have PGM1-CDG proven by genetic and lab testing.
  • Be on a stable (unchanged) dose of D-galactose right now.
  • If you can become pregnant (or have a pregnancy-capable partner), agree to very reliable birth control during the study and the long follow-up.
  • Be able to understand the study and sign written consent (and assent if needed).
  • Have no major excluded conditions or safety issues, like certain liver problems.
