Who can take part
- You have invasive ductal breast cancer and have spread to 1–3 armpit lymph nodes on the same side
- Your plan is to start chemotherapy and/or targeted therapy before surgery (neoadjuvant treatment)
- After treatment, you are willing to have a curative operation, possibly breast-conserving surgery plus targeted armpit node removal
- There is no spread to distant organs, and you do not have inflammatory or multi-center (more than one area) breast cancer
- You have not had prior surgery or radiation to the same armpit area
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have a pacemaker or other metal implant in the chest/shoulder
