Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must have a single breast tumor (either non-invasive or invasive) that can be seen on ultrasound.
  • You are scheduled for breast-conserving surgery or a targeted lymph node removal.
  • Your doctor plans to place one marker in the tumor and/or one marker in a lymph node before surgery.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or other active implant near the area where the marker will be placed.
