Who can take part
- You have suspected stroke symptoms, as judged by the ambulance paramedic, or a known large-vessel stroke
- Your symptoms started (or the last time you were seen well) is less than 24 hours before the EEG
- You are 18 years or older
- A patient or legal representative can give consent (possibly later if needed)
- Your scalp where the EEG cap goes has no open skin problem and no active infection
- You do not have (suspected) COVID-19 at the time of the test
