Who can take part

  • You are 21 years old or older.
  • You smoke every day (at least 5 cigarettes daily) and still want to quit.
  • You must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • You agree to not smoke for 1 hour before the session until at least 8 hours after.
  • You agree to avoid alcohol and other drugs that affect the mind for 24 hours around the session.
  • You must pass medical screening (including blood/urine tests and an EKG) and not meet the study’s safety exclusions.
