This study tests whether an Allium-based ureteral stent can improve healing and comfort for people with a scarred ureter (ureteral stricture) that has not responded to prior dilation. You may be asked to accept a stent placed for the long term, depending on your situation.

Who can take part
- You have a ureter narrowing (stricture) that keeps coming back or won’t improve after dilation
- You have had at least two prior ureter dilations for this problem
- You are willing to have the stent placed and to keep it in long term if your care team recommends it
- Your heart/circulation is healthy enough to safely handle anesthesia
- Your urine infection is controlled (no uncontrolled urinary tract infection)
