Predicting ulcerative colitis flare course using personal data

Ulcerative Colitis

Part of Digestive system clinical trials.

This study tries to better predict how an ulcerative colitis flare will progress by using a mix of your medical information. If you are eligible, your flare details may help researchers build tools that guide future care.

Ultrasound to check ulcerative colitis flare response

This trial uses a gentle ultrasound scan (on the outside of the body) to see how well treatment is working during a moderate to severe flare of ulcerative colitis. It aims to find out if this painless test can predict recovery and help guide care without needing a telescope exam (endoscopy).

Personalized prediction for ulcerative colitis treatment response

This study builds a prediction model to estimate how people with ulcerative colitis may respond to certain medicines. It may help doctors choose the most effective treatment sooner.

Confocal endomicroscopy to predict ulcerative colitis outcomes

This study uses a special microscope during a colonoscopy to look at the lining of your colon in detail. It aims to see if this microscope can help predict how ulcerative colitis will progress, which could guide treatment decisions.

NCT06516341Recruiting
Predicting bowel recurrence after surgery for chronic inflammation

This study follows patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis to see how their intestine heals after surgery. It looks for signs that can predict whether inflammation will return or complications will happen.

Ulcerative colitis remission-recurrence study

This trial studies people with ulcerative colitis who are in a 'remission-recurrence' state, meaning their symptoms come and go. It aims to better understand this pattern and may help guide future treatments.

Heart rate biofeedback for ulcerative colitis flare

This trial studies whether training your body to control heart-rate patterns (biofeedback) can reduce symptoms during an ulcerative colitis flare. It may help by targeting the body’s stress and heart rhythm signals without directly changing inflammation.
