Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have ulcerative colitis (UC)
- You must be currently having a flare-up (active symptoms)
- You must not have CMV colitis or a C. diff infection
- You must not be admitted electively (planned admission) – this is for emergency admissions
