Parent-focused therapy to improve positive parenting in young children

Who can take part

  • Your child is between 3 and 6 years old (including both ages).
  • Your child’s screening shows elevated emotional/behavior concerns (SDQ total score 16 or higher).
  • The child has high scores on parent behavior checklists (CBCL internalizing and/or externalizing 60+), OR you report the COVID/pandemic impact has been high.
  • You must be the child’s legal guardian and be able to give informed consent and commit to the planned sessions.
  • Neither you nor your child can already be receiving other psychological therapy as part of this period.
  • You (the parent) must speak and understand Portuguese.
