Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have early-stage (stage I–III) non-small cell lung cancer, either confirmed or suspected
- Be scheduled to have surgery to remove part of the lung (like lobectomy or segmentectomy) as your routine treatment
- You should not have had another cancer in the last 5 years (with a few exceptions)
- You should not have had chemo, immunotherapy, or radiation before the surgery
- You should not receive a blood transfusion around the time of surgery
