Thyroid cancer follow-up reminders for low-risk patients

Who can take part

  • You are over 18 and able to consent to take part
  • You have thyroid cancer classified as low-risk stage 1, or stage 2 (and both have no signs of return on scans and blood tests)
  • Your most recent treatment was at least 24 months ago for stage 1, or at least 48 months ago for stage 2
  • Your blood tests are reassuring: very low thyroid tumor marker (hsTG) and low anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (anti-TG AB) and your thyroid ultrasound shows no regional recurrence
  • You have a primary care doctor (PCP) you have consented/registered with
  • You can use a mobile app (Medable or your own phone) and have internet access
