ACL surgery using tendon graft, with or without internal brace
Part of Injuries & trauma clinical trials.
This study compares two ways of doing ACL reconstruction surgery for a first-time ACL tear: one with an extra internal brace inside the knee and one without. It may help find which approach leads to better healing and knee recovery.

This trial tests whether adding an internal brace (a strong suture tape) during ACL reconstruction with a BTB graft helps improve knee stability and recovery. It is for people ages 18 to 35 with a first-time ACL tear who are otherwise healthy.
This study looks at how well a special tissue support called BioBrace® works when used during ACL reconstruction surgery. It follows patients who have already had the surgery or are planning to have it, to see how their knee recovers over time.
This trial studies a new way to reconstruct a torn ACL using your own bone marrow cells and a special internal brace to help you return to sports. It's for young athletes who haven't had ACL surgery before.
This study looks at two surgical methods to attach the tendon graft during ACL reconstruction, using either an Endobutton or metal interference screws. It may help patients by improving how securely the graft is fixed and how well recovery goes.
This study compares two ways to treat a torn ACL: bracing alone or surgery using your own quadriceps tendon. It aims to find which option helps you return to sports best.
This study compares two ways to rebuild the ACL using different tendon grafts (quadriceps tendon vs patellar tendon) taken from your own body. It aims to learn which option leads to better recovery after ACL reconstruction, including strength and function.
