Who can take part

  • You are between 14 and 65 years old (skeleton fully grown).
  • You have an ACL injury causing instability and need ACL reconstruction.
  • Your surgeon plans to use your own tissue (an autograft), not donor tissue.
  • Your tissue is expected to be good enough for one of the graft options.
  • You are not having more than one ligament surgery at the same time (not PCL, MCL, or PLC).
  • You can follow physical therapy and are willing to delay returning to sport until at least 6 months.
