Who can take part

  • Be a man age 40 to 65
  • Have had radical prostatectomy (prostate removal) for prostate cancer with no spread (no metastasis), and surgery was under 60 days ago
  • Your cancer must not be T3 or T4 stage, and you should not need other prostate cancer treatments like radiation or hormone therapy
  • Before surgery, you should have fairly good erections (IIEF score over 22 in domain A)
  • You must have stable heterosexual partner plans (together for more than 2 months and willing to stay together during the study)
  • You must take tadalafil 5 mg every day from day 30 to day 60 after surgery, and use at least 80% of the pills in that time window
