Who can take part
- You are a 1st-year optometry student
- Your nearsightedness is in a specific range: +2.00 to -5.00 “diopters”
- Your astigmatism is not more than -1.50 diopters
- You are not using any myopia-control treatment now (no special contact lenses, no “ortho-k,” no medicine, and no glasses made for myopia control)
- Your eyes are otherwise healthy, without major eye disease
- You are not pregnant and do not have major health conditions like diabetes
