Blood test to guide next cancer treatment choices

Who can take part

  • Your health status should be good enough for daily activities (ECOG 0–1).
  • You have a solid tumor type such as esophageal cancer, non-adenocarcinoma lung cancer, small-cell lung cancer, head & neck cancer, mesothelioma, breast cancer, or lung neuroendocrine cancer.
  • You can provide blood samples at key times: about 20–30 mL at baseline, again within 1–3 weeks after starting treatment, at the first scan, and again at progression.
  • You may need archived or recent tumor tissue, but this is preferred—not required—and must be enough for testing if you have it.
  • Your cancer should be able to be tracked for change over time (you don’t need “measurable” tumors).
  • You can sign consent, and you are not pregnant (women who are known to be pregnant cannot join).
