Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and your brain tumor is a first recurrence of glioblastoma after prior surgery and treatment
  • Your doctors plan more radiation for the tumor recurrence, based on a tumor board decision
  • There is confirmed lab proof the tumor is recurrent glioblastoma from a tissue sample, regardless of a specific gene marker
  • You can do follow-up scans (MRI, PET, or contrast CT) and you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Your overall strength is good enough (Karnofsky score 60 or higher)
  • You can meet safety rules for contraception and avoid certain light-sensitizing medicines before treatment
