This study looks at how often “SPAD” happens in adults who get repeated bacterial infections in the chest or sinuses. It aims to better understand your infection frequency and related immune test results, which may help guide future care.

Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 65 years old
- Have a documented history of repeated bacterial infections in your upper and/or lower respiratory tract for at least 2 years
- Currently meet infection pattern needs, like needing antibiotics many times per year (for example 6+ courses/year or 3+ courses/year under specific conditions)
- Have normal blood immune test results (IgG/IgA/IgM and related parts, complement levels, and normal immune cell counts)
- No major risk factors for infections such as uncontrolled diabetes, HIV, certain cancers, significant kidney/liver failure, or recent major transplants
- Not pregnant, and don’t have recent PPV23 vaccine treatment within the past 2 years
