  • You have a missing segment (gap) in part of your upper arm (humerus), thigh (femur), or shin bone (tibia) that needs surgery.
  • Your care team evaluates and treats you at UC San Diego (UCSD).

  • Your doctor does not plan a different repair method as the best option for you.
