Who can take part
- You are an adult (18 or older).
- You have had gastric sleeve surgery before.
- You have confirmed GERD based on a scope exam or 24-hour acid testing.
- Your reflux symptoms are not adequately controlled on once-daily PPI, or you cannot tolerate PPIs, or you want to stop PPIs and are willing to try the procedure.
- You do not have a large hiatal hernia (more than 5 cm), and your esophagus has no preexisting narrowing.
- You do not have certain health issues/medication situations (for example, blood thinners/platelet medicines beyond aspirin) and your BMI is 35 or less.
