- You had surgery for esophageal cancer called esophageal adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma
- After surgery, your tumor was staged as T3 (pT3) based on pathology
- Your tumor stage after surgery was not T0, T1, T2, or T4 (no pT0-2 and no pT4)
- Your cancer had not spread to distant organs (no metastatic disease)
- Your surgery results did not have a cancer-positive margin at the near or far edges
