Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 45 years old
  • You have one permanent tooth with dead pulp in a single root canal (from decay or a mild injury)
  • The tooth problem started from trauma or tooth decay (not from severe tooth breakage or moving)
  • Your tooth root opening is not blocked by calcification (a hardened blockage at the tip of the root)
  • You are not pregnant, not nursing, and not planning pregnancy
  • Your general health is suitable for dental treatment (no serious uncontrolled mouth problems or malnutrition)
