Who can take part

  • You must be generally healthy with no serious medical conditions.
  • You should be between 9 and 15 years old.
  • You must have an immature permanent tooth (root still developing) with either a live but inflamed pulp or a dead pulp.
  • The tooth cannot have deep decay or a big crack needing a post and crown.
  • You cannot have gum disease, root damage, or a large infection at the root tip.
  • You must not have any allergies to the medicines used in the study.
