Who can take part

  • You’re age 18–49 if you have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer
  • Your diagnosis must be confirmed by tissue testing (biopsy or surgical sample)
  • If you are a control (not diagnosed), you must have no personal history of cancer and a negative colon check test (FOBT or colonoscopy)
  • Your colorectal cancer diagnosis must not be age 50 or older
  • You should not have certain conditions that can change diet or strongly increase risk (for example, celiac disease or inflammatory bowel disease)
  • You must be able to sign consent and complete the electronic questionnaire
