Who can take part
- You have confirmed (biopsy-proven) adenoid cystic carcinoma in the head and neck
- Your tumor can’t be fully removed, or there’s leftover visible disease after surgery, or surgery is possible but you prefer not to have it
- Your cancer has not spread to distant organs, or it’s limited to 1–3 spots in the lung or bone
- You have not had any previous radiation to the head and neck area
- You are 18 or older and well enough to do treatment (Karnofsky score 70 or higher)
- Your lymph node spread is limited to only the same side neck areas I and II (no more than cN1/pN1)
