- You have a hernia that formed after a previous operation
- Your hernia is located in the middle or on the side of the abdomen
- CT scan shows the hernia opening (“hernial gate”) is between 4.1 and 15 cm
- Your hernia must be a postoperative ventral hernia (not another type)
