Who can take part

  • You are a woman age 18 or older with confirmed epithelial ovarian cancer from biopsy or surgery
  • Your cancer is too hard to remove with first surgery, so you need chemotherapy first and then interval debulking surgery
  • Your cancer type is serous (high-grade or low-grade), and it is stage IIIb/IIIc/IVa/IVb with specific lymph node spread limits
  • Your general health is fairly good (performance status 0–1) and your blood counts and liver/kidney tests are within required ranges
  • You can safely take part in the study, including giving consent, having planned follow-up, and being able to do a tumor biopsy
  • You are not pregnant (and if you could become pregnant, you must use effective birth control); you also must not have certain infections or immune conditions
