Who can take part
- You have triple-negative breast cancer where ER, PR, and HER2 are all negative, and your tumor is the BLIS subtype
- Your cancer is locally advanced or metastatic (or has come back in a way that can’t be fully removed by surgery)
- You have not had any prior chemotherapy or targeted therapy specifically for metastatic triple-negative breast cancer
- You can do usual daily activities fairly well (ECOG performance status 0–1) and can be in follow-up for at least 3 months
- You have at least one measurable or reportable tumor area that the study can track, and you have not had radiation to that area
- Your overall organ function and health are “basically normal,” and you can understand and follow study visits and instructions
