Who can take part
- You are a woman age 18 or older.
- You have early breast cancer: stage 0 DCIS or stage I–II invasive breast cancer.
- Your diagnosis was confirmed by a needle biopsy and you plan for breast-conserving surgery.
- You can attend the study site at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
- Your overall health is good (ECOG 0–1) and you can sign informed consent.
- You are not pregnant, and you have not had chemotherapy before surgery for this current breast cancer.
