Who can take part
- You’re 18 years or older
- Your diagnosis is pancreatic adenocarcinoma confirmed by pathology or a lab test
- Your pancreatic cancer can’t be removed by surgery (locally advanced or metastatic)
- You’re considered too unwell for full-dose combination chemotherapy, but you can take gemcitabine (or reduced-dose combination chemo)
- You have enough blood and organ function (including neutrophils and platelets; bilirubin not too high; kidney function eGFR above 50) and any prior chemo side effects are mostly resolved (less than grade 2)
