Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older, and have non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IIIB or IV
- Be at TOHCC and planning your first-line “platinum-doublet” chemotherapy (with or without immunotherapy)
- Have an overall health/activity level (ECOG) of 2 or less
- Haven’t had IV vitamin C within the last 6 months
- Not have low G6PD enzyme activity that can cause certain blood problems (and follow pregnancy gene requirements if pregnant or trying)
- Your kidneys must be able to filter well enough (eGFR at least 45 mL/min) and you should not be on insulin or warfarin
