Who can take part

  • You have a type of lung cancer called squamous non-small cell lung cancer that has spread or come back and cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You have not had any previous chemotherapy or immunotherapy for advanced disease.
  • You are 18 years or older and able to give informed consent.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
  • Your liver, kidney, and blood cell counts are within acceptable ranges.
